Concerts, prizes, races and museums open in Legnano. Turbigo recalls the Risorgimento

LEGNANO – A great soundtrack concert performed by the Aria ensemble (in the photo above). The program includes music for all tastes and all dreams: from the striking contrasts of Mission Impossible to the echoes of adventure of the Pirates of the Caribbeanfrom the timeless compositions of Ennio Morricone to the melodic textures of Nicola Piovaniand again by the refined harmonies of Nino Rota to the memorable musical frescoes of Hans Zimmer. Treasure hunt with the artisans of the village

The artisans of the village, association of volunteers for the diffusion of history and manual culture over timeto crown the Arts and Crafts workshops in the schools of Legnano, they return to turn their attention to the little ones, giving their contribution to the centenary of Legnano Città with the second edition of the treasure hunt, reserved for third year primary school students of Legnano. With the collaboration of the Maggiolini Lions Club of Parabiago and the participation in the game of around twenty commercial activities in the city centre, the treasure hunt will start in Piazza San Magno on the morning of Saturday 11th, from 10.00 to 13.00 with the construction of a puzzle depicting the Visconti Castle using tiles to be discovered by answering the riddles that will indicate where to find them. Awards ceremony of the “Giovanni da Legnano” competition

On Saturday 11th at 3.00 pm in the Sala Giare of Villa Jucker (via Matteotti 3) the awards ceremony for the finalists of the competition will be held 29th edition of the “Giovanni da Legnano” poetry and fiction prize promoted by the Legnanese family. The event will be chaired by the president of the award, Monsignor Angelo Cairati. A section of the award is dedicated to the historical narrative relating to the Palio di Legnano and, for this edition, there will be one dedicated to the centenary of the City of Legnano. StraLegnanese centenary running

On Sunday 12th the StraLegnanese will be run for the centenary of Legnano Città, non-competitive foot race organized by Us Legnanese 1913 open to all enthusiasts, who will be able to choose between the 5 km and the 10 km test.
