VITERBO – New hearing for Rudy Guede, accused of mistreating his ex-partner, who reported him for sexual violence, mistreatment and injuries. Investigations started in the summer, conducted by the flying squad and coordinated by prosecutor Paola Conti, after the complaint of the victim who turned to the police telling of assaults and sexual relations against her will which occurred between 2022 and 2023, i.e. during the relationship with the Ivorian, defined as “turbulent and marked by constant back and forth”.
The issue was the subject of an evidentiary hearing held yesterday at the Court of Viterbo, where significant details emerged. Guede’s ex-partner, a twenty-four year old, reported having suffered physical violence from him, supporting her complaint with photographs and conversations via chat where she confided the abuse she had suffered to trusted people, circumstances which she formalized only months later with the authorities , out of concern for her safety, especially after Guede tried to contact her again. Meanwhile, Guede is subject to a precautionary measure requiring him to maintain a distance of at least 800 meters from his ex-partner, a measure supported by an electronic bracelet.
Guede’s defender, the lawyer Carlo Mezzetti, requested the evidentiary hearing. The expert report was entrusted to the expert Grutta D’Auria of Rome. Once the material has been analysed, the documents will be returned to the prosecutor who will then be able to close the investigation.
