Saturday 11 May at 11am the “Cremona sei tu” list, in support of the mayoral candidate Andrea Virgilio, will meet the people of Cremona in Piazza Giovanni XXIII at the former Church of San Francesco. The former hospital is in fact part of a large urban regeneration project called “Youth in the centre”, intended in the coming years to revitalize a sector of the historic center which is currently in decline.
At the presentation of the “Cremona sei tu” list, made up of twelve women and twelve men, they will also be present together with all the candidates Andrew Virgilthe leader Luciano Pizzetti and the philosopher Mauro Ceruti.

What is the “Youth in the Center” Project?
There retraining of the former Church of San Francesco is part of a much larger project called “Youth in the centre”, because it involves redesigning the entire area which includes the former hospital in via Radaelli, the Citadel of personal services and the Parco del Vecchio Promenade, but also the buildings that today house the San Francesco nursery, the Martini nursery school and the Campi secondary school, as well as Piazza Lodi and Piazza Giovanni XXIII, to regenerate spaces in the center to be dedicated to cultural and social activities that involve young people in particular .
