“In the recent diktat issued by Cateno De Luca in the guise of someone who believes he is the absolute master of people who instead have their own subjectivity and a brain and a soul, there was no shortage of heavy insults, even with “sexist” accents, aimed at to his associates who, despite having roles and positions in the Municipal Council and on the boards of directors of the investee companies, are not committing themselves properly in the electoral campaign for the European elections“. This is what the Civic Initiative and Resistance Group states “Respect Messina”.
“A real “fatwa” with no appeal in which only “his” Federico Basile is absolved, as if the Mayor of a Metropolitan City were considered “personal property”, while all the others are called to order, as if they were naive soldiers dealing with a corporal of the day. And what is surprising is that in the face of such behavior which is clearly offensive to personal dignity, given the adjectives such as “parasites”, “macabre dancing satyrs” and “half men and half women” (expanding the famous “Sciascian” categories), there is no there was no reaction from the recipients of such attacks. As if they were subject to a sort of enchantment which makes them put aside their pride and their professional and political experiences in order to maintain the position which, in light of what is happening, it is reasonable to think has been assigned to them following primarily the criterion of an absolute fideism.
A fideism to be renewed by submitting to the humiliation of a new pact to be signed with a ritual typical of an “absolutist regime”, and which, although determining their temporary reconfirmation, will become an authentic sword of Damocles“, the note remarks.
“Because, despite the threats, there will be no elimination of positions and roles, but a mechanism will be activated that can only be defined as “exchange”, because the targets of the furious reprimand will be able to keep their well-paid positions depending on their electoral contribution made.
