Another victim on the streets of Rome. This morning, Thursday 9 May, a person lost his life in a road accident on Via Prenestina. A Fiat 500 and a scooter collided in the Prenestino Village area shortly after 4am.
The driver of the car immediately stopped to help the scooter rider, but there was nothing that could be done. The man was identified by the municipal police and taken to hospital to undergo the ritual tests. The vehicles were seized.
The stretch of road
The accident occurred near the intersection of via Prenestina and the road was closed in the stretch between via del Fosso dell’Osa and via Prenestina Nuova.
To allow the investigations, bus line 508 was diverted due to an accident between private individuals in via Prenestina from via Modolo, via Prenestina, via della Riserva Nuova, via del Fosso di Scilicino, via del Fosso dell’Osa, then from via Prenestina resumes its normal route.
