The great Rimini Classica Orchestra
It is approaching Very final from the third edition of the Rimini Festival. The finalists come from ten Italian regions (plus an artist from the Republic of San Marino) and were all selected and listened to live in January 2024. All the songs presented by the competitors were rearranged for the occasion by Marco Capicchioni and they will be performed by the great Rimini Classical Orchestra. All strictly live.
There are many prizes up for grabs: from the prestigious First Overall Prizeto the Jury prizes for each of the three competing categories. Furthermore i special prizes decreed by the audience in the room who will express their opinion on the Performers and Songwriters/Bands. Instead, it will be up to the Orchestra to decree the special prize for the best author. Furthermore, the Afi award and the Amarcort Film Festival awardwho will give a video clip to one of the participants.
They will think about making the evening even more extraordinary Federico Mecozzi, Filippo Malatesta and the young singer from Rimini Mattia Adduocchio. Three exceptional guests for three unique performances. Federico Mecozzi will present two songs taken from his new album, Mattia Adduocchio will perform a song entitled “Without you” written by Carlo Alberto Rossi, an internationally renowned composer born in Rimini (the composer of songs such as “E se futuro” and “Le mille bubbles blue” for Mina, just to name a few). Carlo Alberto Rossi’s son will be present on the jury, Giorgio Rossi, always close to the Rimini Festival. Filippo Malatesta, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his most famous album, “Malatesta”, will perform his most beloved song “Con o senza me” together with Federico Mecozzi.
