Schio wins by one length, Passalacqua Ragusa ends the season

It was an intense and hard-fought match until the last moment, but in the end it was Famila Schio who won the championship final, narrowly beating the courageous team from Ragusa. Despite Juskaite’s absence, Ragusa’s players gave their all, leading for a good part of the match and demonstrating great determination and commitment on the field.

The match opened with a strong start from Ragusa, who took an early lead thanks to Thomas and Milazzo. However, Schio was able to react and take the lead again towards the end of the first quarter. The second quarter was characterized by relative balance, with Ragusa managing to maintain control of the game.

In the third quarter, Schio attempted to get closer, but Ragusa continued to hold its ground. It was only in the final period that Schio managed to gain the upper hand, making a final comeback that led to victory by just one point.

Despite the defeat, coach Lino Lardo praised the great commitment and performance of his team, underlining that they deserved to also play game 3. It has been a challenging season, but Ragusa can be proud of what it has achieved, demonstrating great character and team cohesion despite the difficulties encountered along the way.
