From Friday 3 May to Sunday 5, the wonderful San Marino swimming pool hosted the synchronized swimming sector of Rari Nantes Legnano for the “Spring 2024 Trophy”.

53 companies competing and 1500 athletes present, with the RNL starting with a small team, five athletes, but of great quality. The comment by Cleofe Bonavia, sector manager:
“On the afternoon of Friday 3 May, Andrea Maria Pantaleone and Gaia Farioli took to the water, with the double in the junior Ex-Ago category. Despite the high level and fierce competition, our girls remained focused and performed a splendid exercise, bringing home third place. Saturday was particularly tough, due to the number of exercises that our girls would have had to carry out in the competition. Giorgia Moroni’s single hit the water straight away, getting a good score, but she was less than satisfied with the performance, knowing she could do better too.”
Great determination for the athletes
Coach Cleofe Bonavia also dived into the pool to try out the single that she will take to the competition at the Italian Masters Championships in Riccione. Here is her comment:
“Here too, the starting list was full of high-level athletes, but the exercise was convincing and the judges awarded it with the silver medal”.
The morning of competitions ended with the trio made up of Gaia Farioli, Andrea Maria Pantaleone and Sophie Rallo, who thrilled the coach with “their determination to give their best and the quality with which they carried out a technically very complex exercise, which it earned them a well-deserved first place.”
Weekend ended with double
The racing weekend ended with the Giorgia Moroni-Sophie Rallo double who, in the late afternoon, obtained almost 60,000 points in the competitive Absolute Ex-Ago category.
The technicians Cleofe Bonavia and Giorgia Borsa were satisfied, because “after some regrets in the previous races, the girls worked hard and reacted in an exemplary way, achieving excellent results. For this reason, we coaches can only feel enormous satisfaction and congratulate them. Now we can’t wait to close the season with more great emotions.”
