Polls at a local and national level are going crazy and, obviously, even Sanremo is not immune from the multitude of phone calls that are inundating Matuzian citizens and voters, in view of the administrative and European elections.
The latest survey is being carried out by the company ‘Only Numbers’, a Milanese company that also deals with market research, opinion polls, media research into various qualitative and quantitative indicators.
The proposed survey with several questions to the interlocutor is very quick. The first is the age group of the interviewee and whether he will vote in Sanremo. Then he is asked if he will go to vote and why. Then the more direct questions arise: ‘Which party will you vote for?’, ‘Is there a candidate at local level that you know?’, ‘Which one?’
Then they are asked which candidate inspires confidence and the seven who will put themselves forward in June are listed. Another question concerns the possible run-off: ‘Which of the candidates would you choose in that case’? They are also asked for their opinion on who might win.
At the end of the survey, some questions are asked about the latest endorsements made by provincial and regional politicians: “Did you know that Claudio Scajola supports Mager?” it’s the first one. Subsequently they are asked “Did you know that Mager himself is supported by Alberto Biancheri (outgoing mayor, ed.) and Giovanni Toti (President of the Region)? At the end they are also asked which party the interlocutor voted for in the last political elections.
