We receive and publish a note sent by the Il Duemila Institute. Here’s what it says: “The work, in which the trees seem to emerge from the sea, goes beyond the city limits for a story that begins in Mazara del Vallo. Schools and families in Tonnarella-Trasmazzaro have long been asking the municipal administrations to plant trees in the neighborhood to improve life and protect climate change. Planting of trees, even in the city for a vision of change to the green transaction.

Borsellino began his judicial activity in 1966 as a young magistrate in Mazara del Vallo which he loved to define, when he moved to the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Marsala and then Palermo, as a city with the charm of the blue ‘African’ sea”. The Presidency of the Istituto Duemila thus he concludes: “memory and history of Paolo Borsellino who was an excellent magistrate who knew how to combine great human maturity and an equal faith in justice. It is right and splendid to remember and honor him in a place of crystalline sea and explosion of greenery” in the green park named after him in Mazara del Vallo”.
