A 35-year-old policeman stabbed in Lambrate station in Milan, in Piazza Enrico Bottini, is in serious condition. The agent’s condition, initially rated “yellow” (less serious), soon became “red” and he was urgently transported to the Niguarda hospital. He is on a guarded prognosis.

Policeman stabbed: what happened

There were police officers on site and the railway police, who had asked for the support of their colleagues due to the presence of a troublesome man who was in a strong state of agitation. He threw stones at trains and people. He had also hit a 55-year-old Italian woman in the head, who was subsequently transported under green code to the Fatebenefratelli hospital.

The man, a thirty-seven year old Moroccan irregular, was hit by the police with the taser but the discharge was not effective due to the jacket he was wearing. A scuffle immediately ensued, during which the foreigner hit the policeman, a deputy inspector of the state police, with a knife. Three slashes to the back: also hitting some vital organs. The policeman underwent emergency surgery for the bleeding he suffered.

The Moroccan, with various aliases in the database and previous cases for crimes against people and property and resisting a public official, was arrested and taken to the San Vittore prison.
