Over the past weekend, i Carabinieri of the Operational Unit of the Lagonegro Company, together with those of the local station, during targeted territorial control services aimed at the prevention and repression of crimes, they a 58-year-old local businessman was arrested for possession for the purpose of dealing drugs.

The subsequent house search, extended to the company headquarters, allowed for find approximately 110,000 euros of cash, presumed proceeds from the drug dealing activity, subjected to seizure.
The man, arrested, was associated with the Potenza prison.
The arrest was validated by the GIP of the Court of Lagonegro at the end of the hearing held on 6 May 2024.
