Almost two hundred riding the ‘Graziella’ along the Estense territory. On Wednesday morning the original event scheduled for Sunday was presented at ‘Palazzo Naselli-Crispi’. When will the second edition of the original initiative ‘the charge of the Grazielle’ be held, an event promoted by UISP Ferrara with the patronage of the Municipality of Ferrara and the Ferrara Plain Reclamation Consortium. The meeting was attended by the municipal councilor for sport Andrea Maggi, the president of Uisp Ferrara Eleonora Banzi, the organizing staff of the initiative Silvia Zannini, Marina Zanardi as well as Moreno Zagati, Uisp Ferrara cycling representative, Luca Natali, vice-president of the Consorzio di Bonifica Pianura of Ferrara. “Ferrara, city of bicycles – explained councilor Andrea Maggi – could only remember the Graziella, among other things one of the first folding bikes. A day that will be full of joy and extravagance. Thanks therefore to Uisp and organizers for having been able to implement this proposal for a healthy and active way of enjoying free time in the open air”. The departure at 9am from ‘Palazzo Naselli-Crispi’, via Borgo Leoni for a fun and non-competitive ride, outside the box both for the clothing of the participants and for the dated vehicle. “An appointment that is repeated after the first edition – adds Eleonora Banzi – for an event that as Uisp we could not avoid supporting. As it is a non-competitive event open to all”. The route will wind for 45 km at a slow pace through the Estense countryside and along the Po river, mechanical assistance is expected.
