‘Courteous combat’ with the archers at Massari park

On Sunday, the Estense capital will host the “City of Ferrara Courteous Tenzone”, the first stage of the historic Fidasc Coni circuit, which together with other cities throughout the national territory make up the Italian championship at the Massari Park, from 9.30am to 1pm. About 70 historic archers from all over Italy will compete by shooting three arrows in each of the 16 prepared pitches. “In Ferrara – explains the president of the Company of archers and crossbowmen “Filippo degli Ariosti” Gianni Soffritti – Fidasc, a national multidisciplinary federation recognized by CONI, in its section dedicated to archery, has found archers and crossbowmen in the Company Filippo degli Ariosti new qualified resources and this makes us proud. There are 5 competitions scheduled this year, from north to central Italy, to form the single national championship to give further possibilities, right from the start 9 years old, to learn a healthy discipline, managed by qualified technicians in total safety, fun and which often interacts with the local school, benefiting the psychophysical health of the individuals who practice it, – underlines Soffritti – composed of over one hundred athletes, in which teams and elements of both Olympic and historical success already play, has seen over the years conquer regional, national and international titles, in the shadow of the Castle, as well as implement countless local tournament events and collaborations with organizations for disabled people. It has its main practice field and school near the Bassani Urban Park and has been making its instructors available for some time to promote knowledge of archery in all its categories”.
