“The Democratic Party of Velletri expresses disdain for the recent decision of the Cascella administration to remove three car parks from the square in front of the town hall, one of which, moreover, is dedicated to pregnant women. We believe that public space must always be guaranteed to all citizens. In a historical period in which more and more people are becoming disaffected with politics and refraining from participating during elections, falling back on small privileges helps no one. They put their own needs before those of all the citizens who go to the municipality to use the necessary services, but also those of the municipal employees who reach Piazza Cesare Ottaviano every day to go to work, encountering the same difficulties as everyone else in find a parking space. We invite the administration to reconsider this choice and find alternative solutions that guarantee equal access to parking for all citizens. The PD of Velletri is committed to ensuring that the rights of citizens are always respected and protected.”
