The singer-songwriter spoke about his origins from Reggio Emilia and led the spectators on a journey of music and words through the tracks of his latest album

REGGIO EMILIA – The moon fell on the stage of the Valli theatre, in the special concert which Vinicio Capossela wanted to dedicate Ludovico Ariosto to the “master of the house”.inspiration and guest of honor of his latest album “Tredici Canzoni Urgenti”, winner of the prestigious Targa Tenco 2023 in the Best Album category.

“No theater in the world can give that sense of enchantment to someone who grew up around it” wrote the singer-songwriter on social media a few hours before going on stage at the Valli, underlining his Reggio roots. The one in Reggio was the penultimate stop of the tour of the theaters “With the keys we have”, a concert included in the program of Leggera, the Arci festival, created in collaboration with the Fondazione I Teatri.

Accompanying Vinicio Capossela on stage Andrea Lamacchia on double bass, Piero Perelli on drums, Alessandro ‘Asso’ Stefana on guitar, Raffaele Tiseo on violin, Daniela Savoldi on cello, Michele Vignali on saxophone. During the concert the artist took the spectators by the hand, guiding them through the tracks of her album, which examines social and current issues.

Capossela has also already announced his ‘Other Keys’ summer tour, which will start on July 1st and which will take the ‘Thirteen Urgent Songs’ around festivals and squares throughout the Peninsula, including Umbria jazz.
