05/08/2024 PADUA – The number of suspects in the ugly incident of the Paduan pensioner bitten in her home by five large dogs has risen to three. || A new suspect for the attack suffered by an elderly woman from Padua who was bitten at home by her dogs on April 20th. She is a 34-year-old niece of the victim who appears to be registered in the register of suspects together with the 59-year-old daughter of the pensioner and the 21-year-old son of the latter. The three would be the owners of the dogs, 8 in total, of Amstaff and American Bully breeds who were in the house when the old woman was bitten. The lady, still hospitalized in Intensive Care at Padua Hospital, lost an arm and a forearm. The Prosecutor’s Office is investigating the management of the animals, too many to be kept in a small apartment like the one where the old woman lived with her daughter and her grandson. The dogs are all large, one of them was also expecting 15 puppies born in recent days after being transferred to a kennel in Rubano. In fact, the veterinary service of Ulss 6, after the events, had arranged for the transfer to a suitable facility. The prosecutor’s investigations also want to clarify whether there was a less than legal trade in dogs. One of them, the most aggressive, had already been put up for sale.
