Anas is clearing the snow and reassembling the lateral barriers and vertical signs on the Colli del Piccolo and Gran San Bernardo.
It is expected that the reopening to traffic of the Piccolo and Gran San Bernardo Hills will take place between the end of May and the first days of June, in coordination with the relevant road managers across the state border.

On state road 26 in the Aosta Valley which leads to the Piccolo San Bernardo pass, the works concern a stretch of approximately 4 kilometers between the locality of Les Suches, in the municipality of La Thuile, and the border with France.

At the same time, on the Gran San Bernardo state road 27, operations are underway along 7.5 kilometers between Cerisey, in the municipality of Saint-Rhemy-en-Bosses, and the border with Switzerland, at approximately 2400 meters above sea level.
The cleaning activities are conducted by specialized Anas personnel, who use snow blowers to open a passage along the roadway and bring the road surface to light. Operations are currently concentrated on the lower sections, but as the vehicles advance higher up, they will find themselves facing walls of snow that can be several meters high.
