CIVITAVECCHIA – Countdown to the presentation of electoral lists in support of the upcoming local elections. An anomalous electoral campaign, which started significantly late and is about to come into full swing only a few weeks before the vote.
Seven mayoral candidates will compete: Cristian Bufi (supported by Risorgimento Socialista), Enzo D’Antò (5 Star Movement, Civitavecchia Popolare and Lista D’Antò), Roberta Galletta (Lista Galletta Mayor), Massimiliano Grasso for the centre-right (Fratelli d’Italia, La Svolta, Lega , Lista Grasso and Civitavecchia 2030), Vittorio Petrelli (Il Buon Governance), Marco Piendibene for the center-left (Democratic Party, Piendibene Mayor and Alleanza Verdi Sinistra) and Paolo Poletti who manages to keep the Tideians and the Azzurri together (Italia Viva, Forza Italy, Poletti Mayor and We Moderates).
Eighteen lists in the running, for a total of over four hundred aspiring city councilors. From tomorrow at 8am it will be possible to present the lists. Submit the lists to the general secretariat of the Municipality, which will accept them until 12pm on Saturday. The citizens of Civitavecchia will be called to the polls on 8 and 9 June, with an absolute novelty: for the first time people will vote on Saturday and Sunday. The game would now seem to be over and barring last-minute surprises, the electoral lists in view of the local elections would appear to be closed for all seven candidates. The hunt for the last signature needed for the presentation is over, now we move on to the debate on the programs and initiatives to be put in place.
