The championship has ended, and Livorno has once again failed to achieve promotion to Serie C, closing the season in fourth place in Group E of Serie D; now they will be playoffs, with the team playing away against another great disappointment in the group, Grosseto, who placed third behind leaders Pianese – promoted to Serie C – and Follonica Gavorrano. The playoffs will be quite an end in themselves, and not very popular with the hard core of the Labronica fans, who have invited all supporters to desert the trip.

Even the FIGC, by modifying the regulation that establishes how the teams will eventually be drawn for Serie C, and by opening that championship to the various U23 teams of the largest clubs that play in Serie A, has its share of responsibility in debasing our shirt and our colours, condemning us to remain in Serie D for who knows how many more years. Therefore, as a sign of protest, we have decided to abandon the next trip to Grosseto on the occasion of the semi-final match of the playoffs of our group, inviting anyone who cares about the amaranth shirt, whether they are season ticket holders of the Curva Nord or not, who have 5 or 95 years old, of not following our team next Sunday and of meeting under our stadium in Livorno sending a clear and strong signal.
