Campus Edilizia Brescia Ets Foundation is born
The third sector body was born which consolidates the actions and objectives carried out in the first seven years of activity by the Campus Edilizia Brescia project (www.campusediliziabrescia.it), giving structure to a broader and more widespread vision of sustainable cities and provinces and promoting regeneration interventions aimed at improving the quality of life and living thanks to the synergy of qualified private and public partners.
Upon signing the deed of incorporation, at the notary’s office Chiara Mistrettathe founding members were present: Ance Brescia, Municipality of Brescia, Confindustria Brescia, respectively in the persons of Fabio Rizzinelli, Michela Tiboni And Filippo Schittonetogether with entrepreneurs Paolo Bettoni, Raffaele Collicelli, Massimo Angelo Deldossi And Franco Gussalli Beretta.
“With the establishment of the Ets Foundation – underlines Rizzinelli, vice-president of the territorial building builders’ association – Campus Edilizia Brescia is counting on the involvement of various local actors to respond to the need to promote economic and social development starting from the valorisation of the results of scientific research. From the analysis of data and the state of the art and from the evaluation of the objective needs of the built environment, the Foundation will develop paths for growth and transformation of the territory, leaving the task of guiding urban regeneration to those in charge”.
“Brescia has enormous growth potential, which passes through the possibility of regeneration and care of the environment and buildings. And the strategic vision contained in the PGT, which aimed at the construction of a green belt around the city, reducing land consumption and promoting urban regeneration, needs discussion with those who can and want to do so” declares Michela Tiboni, Councilor for Urban planning and planning for sustainable development of the Municipality of Brescia. “The Campus Foundation can be a useful tool for dialogue and discussion on the needs of the city, a dialogue that involves a fundamental part of civil society and our community will once again prove to be at the forefront (as in the best tradition of good governance of this city ) in promoting and enhancing the active and constructive participation of all public and private entities interested in being involved in the complex challenges of sustainable development”.
“The regeneration and recovery of abandoned spaces are aspects on which our Association is increasingly working at the forefront – comments Franco Gussalli Beretta, president of Confindustria Brescia –. In recent years we have had the opportunity to demonstrate this several times, both on the provincial territory – for example with the organization of our General Assembly in the former Ala di Pisogne area in 2021 – and in the urban context. In this sense, we immediately supported the birth of Campus Edilizia, and now that of the Foundation of the same name. We are in fact convinced that, only through an ever closer synergy between public and private, it is possible to trace the best planning routes for our city. The newly created Foundation will therefore have to become a suitable headquarters for shaping the city of tomorrow, so that it becomes increasingly modern and current. An attractive city for young people, capable of training new generations of talents who will constitute the economic fabric of the future”.
The president of the new Ets Foundation is the engineer Massimo Angelo Deldossi, today at the helm of the Brescia builders and vice president of the national Ance with responsibility for Technology and Innovation:
“With the development and planning of interventions that can be implemented in practice – he comments freshly appointed –, starting from the examination of what has happened and where we want to go, we will work to provide useful tools to direct political choices towards effective strategies and far-sighted objectives , but achievable, which pursue, through widespread commitment, socially useful goals aimed at improving the well-being of citizens”. In addition to President Deldossi, the Supervisory Body was appointed in the person of Dr. Severino Gritti, president of the ODCEC of Brescia.
Purpose
A non-profit organization, as indicated in the statute, the Foundation pursues civic, solidarity and social utility purposes, scientific research of particular collective interest, promotion of the economic and human development of the community, coordination and development of research and dissemination activities relating to construction and land transformation. We also propose the continued carrying out of educational and cultural activities as well as interventions, services and innovative practices for the protection and improvement of environmental conditions, the prudent and rational use of natural resources and for the protection and enhancement of cultural heritage. and the urban landscape.
Brescia towards 2050
The synergy between the various qualified private and public partners will contribute to offering tools to professionals and the community to support a Brescia projected towards 2050. The year in which Europe expects the achievement of a climate neutral economy for all member states . In terms of actions to protect the environment, energy and climate, Brescia wants to be a protagonist on the national and European scene. One of the focuses will therefore be on the concrete implementation of the concept of zero land consumption, and the objective of recovering large abandoned industrial portions, of building houses and offices with almost or totally zero energy consumption.
