The appointment with “38th Parallel – between books and cellars”, the non-fiction festival created and directed by Giuseppe Prode which will liven up the city of Marsala from 16 to 18 May.

“Alternative Present” is the theme of this one eighth editionwhich opens its doors on Wednesday May 15th, at 9.00 pm, with an exceptional preview, which will see the protagonist, at the municipal theater “E. Sollima”, the Iranian pianist Ramin Bahramiwith “Beyond the present: Bach’s vision”: a conversation in music between one of the most interesting interpreters of the German composer and musician and the music critic Stefano Valanzuolo, voice of Rai Radio 3.

The 2024 edition officially opens, on May 16that 10.00 am, at the “Sollima”, with a Masterclasses with Ramin Bahrami they students of the “Antonio Scontrino” Conservatory of Trapani, while at 6.00 pm, at the Cantine Florio, the rector of LUISS will be on stage Andrea Principe and the editorialist of Corriere della Sera Massimo Sideriauthors of the book “The Cybernetic Viscount. Ruggieri” of Marsala.
