The farewell to Arezzo could represent a turning point in the hypothesis of seeing Paolo Giovannini behind the desk of Pistoiese
The news itself is not even too surprising, because especially in the amaranth environment someone had already started to smell the smell. As announced by the club itself, Paolo Giovannini is no longer the general manager of Arezzo. A communication that on the one hand leaves some doubts, especially in light of the contract lasting ten years signed by Giovannini, but which on the other hand, as mentioned, almost seemed to have been in the air for a few weeks. The sentences reported in the press release sound more like sentences ritual words (“decided by mutual agreement necessary given the need for a different organization to pursue the stated objectives”) rather than the real reasons for this separation.

Clearly Giovannini’s profile it’s not one of those that goes unnoticed. The former Arezzo diggì has already worked in Pistoia, albeit several years ago, and in the past he achieved important successes with Pontedera, in which it operated for a decade, Castelnuovo Garfagnana and Lucchese, among others. At the moment it is one simple fantasy and nothing more, as is obvious given the enormous uncertainty that reigns around the Pistoiese area. It is equally undeniable that a figure like that of Giovannini would allow for start again with a big push and with the experience of a manager who in his long career has won wherever he has gone.
