“Voted in favor of the Pd motion”

“A favorable vote in the interest of the development of the territory of the province of Grosseto“.

As Andrea Ulmi, group leader of “Merit and Loyalty” in the Tuscany Regional Council, comments on his vote in favor of motion 1652, of which councilor Francesco Gazzetti of the Democratic Party was the first signatory, which asked the Council to take action with the Government and Parliament to overcome the current resource allocation framework and arrive at a remodulation, compared to the allocations provided for in the program contract between the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport and Anas Spa.

“A motion that starts from a penalizing framework with respect to some Tuscan infrastructures, in particular the E78 and the Tirrenica – he claims Last -, two fundamental arteries which respectively require a requirement of just over one billion euros for the first, and just over 900 million euros for the second. In the chamber I did not agree with some interventions of a purely electoral propagandistic nature characteristic of a Democratic Party which, despite having governed the Region for fifty years, places every problem on the central government now that it is centre-right led. However, I believe that the act in terms of content is to share and, therefore, I voted in the interest of the territory and its needs”.

Ulmi believes that only if all the components do their part will it be possible to achieve financing of two arteries roads that could give an impetus to the development of the territory. “It’s time to have certainties – states the group leader of ‘Merit and Loyalty’-. After decades of words, on the right and on the left, it is time for concrete actions and therefore for funding. With my vote I also wanted to send a message to all the political forces of the right and left to join forces, as happens in other Tuscan areas, to team up in the interest of our territory and to ensure future development thanks to those infrastructures which, to this day, we lack”.
