Del Monte® Italian Cup Serie A2
Minus three to the event: Semi-finals on VBTV, Final live on Sky Sport Max and streaming in the VBTV premium package
After Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina’s promotion to the SuperLega, it is now time for the first event of the Serie A2 season. Consar Ravenna, Consoli Sferc Brescia, Delta Group Porto Viro and the newly promoted team will play the 27th edition of the Del Monte in Cuneo® Italian Cup Serie A2.
The Final Four will offer a show both live (here is the information on the ticket office) and on TV and streaming: all three matches will be live on VBTV, with the Semi-finals visible for free and the Final in the premium package. The final act will also be broadcast on Sky Sport Max (on channel 205). The production quality of Del Monte® Coppa Italia will be significantly increased compared to the standards of the championship, with 5 cameras, interviews with the protagonists and dedicated TV media.
Like all Serie A2 matches and related events, Del Monte’s Final Four® Coppa Italia Serie A2 will be broadcast on VBTV, the Volleyball World streaming platform, which guarantees worldwide visibility to A2 matches and trophies. The Semi-finals, like the other Serie A2 matches, will be in the VBTV “freemium” package (visible for free, after registering on the platform), while the Final, given the concomitance with Sky, will be included in the “premium” package, the same as which includes SuperLega matches. Piero Giannico (journalist and commentator) will be the main voice of the event, supported by former Italian players Andrea Brogioni (who will comment on the Semi-finals), and Liano Petrelli (Final).
Men’s club volleyball is therefore back on Sky, live on Sky Sport Max, (channel 205), for the final act of the event. The last live men’s club volleyball matches on Sky were the 2022/23 A2 Italian Cup in Vibo Valentia, the 2021/22 A2 Super Cup in Bergamo and, again two years ago, the Play Off Final between Reggio Emilia and Wedge. Stefano Locatelli, journalist and commentator, and Andrea Brogioni, former Serie A player and member of the national team staff for 4 years, will talk about the event live from the Palasport in Cuneo.
