2023 was a “record” year for the international airport of Umbria, whose 532,478 passengers in transit (+44.2% on 2022) “dragged”
all the economic and financial indicators: this is what Sase spa, the airport’s management company, said, which unanimously approved the 2023 budget project during the shareholders’ meeting on Wednesday.
The numbers
The economic data show a 13.2% increase in the value of production, while total revenues grew by 13.16% and those from core management increased by 34.71% compared to the previous year. The gross operating margin (Ebitda) stood at 899,529 euros, while the Ebit at 223,534 euros. The net result for the year was positive for 178,676 euros, while the net financial position was positive at the end of the year.
The sustainability report
The president of Sase, Antonello Marcucci, in a note, says he is “very proud to celebrate this important milestone with record results”. At the same time as the 2023 financial statements, the sustainability report was presented for the first time in the history of Sase SpA, with which the company reports on its choices and the results obtained in relation to the issues of development sustainability. «Through the sustainability report – continues the note – we also intend to strengthen the bond of trust between the company, passengers, suppliers, shareholders, territory, interacting even more with the context in which we find ourselves operating».
