CREMONA – K3 Cremona domination at the Caldaro international triathlon, the traditional Olympic distance event at the beginning of May. The podium of the women’s event was in fact colored solely by the colors of the Cremonese team. Was Alice Bagarello to write his name in the roll of honor of the prestigious South Tyrolean event, the lead in the running portion was decisive. Behind her, in a comeback, she placed herself Nicoletta Santonocitowho preceded her teammate Chiara Cavalli.
«It was a tough race with a lot of climbing, but how nice it was to be able to celebrate this first place. And then it’s a great team result, I’m really happy” said the winner upon arrival. In the men’s race, a top ten placement for Nicolò Busso who finished the race in seventh position.
K3 Cremona was also protagonist at the Italian youth cross country championship in Gavoi, Sardinia: eighth place for Alessio Zoppi. Also in Sardinia the Gennargentu cross sprint was held in which the K3 athlete won Giulia Saiuwhile the teammate Matteo Sfregola he finished in second place.
On the podium of the sprint triathlon in Marina di Pisa, another joy for the Cremonese club, with Alessandro Giacalone third e Matteo Sali sixth. For K3 Cremona, therefore, results that are reflecting the objective of being the protagonist of the season.
