Ferrari accelerates ahead of Imola and decides to play its cards as best as possible for the home race when the modified SF24 will make its debut. On Thursday and Friday at Fiorano there will be traffic on the track with four drivers at the wheel.
Tomorrow FIA tests for the so-called sprayguards (the anti-spray protections that the FIA is testing) with two cars, one from 2022 and one from 2024, with three drivers who will alternate Arthur Leclerc, Oliver Berman and Carlos Sainz.
Friday filming day 200 km to collect images with the livery with the HP logo (without the Miami blue) with the 2024 car modified with Carlos and Charles at the wheel while Arthur Leclerc and Ollie Bearman (who will run in Fp1 with Haas in Imola) they will be behind the wheel of the 2022 car.
A May 8th for two: Gilles and Ollie
Since 1982, 8 May has been the day of remembrance of Gilles. 42 years have passed but he is still here, perhaps because we lack someone who interprets Formula 1 like him even if there are some Villeneuvian traces among the young people… I think of Charles, but also a little of Lando, people who put the soul despite having started from two diametrically opposed situations to reach the top.
From this year, however, May 8th is also the day of Ollie Bearman who turned 19 and after his debut in Gedda he is still there waiting for the big opportunity to return to Formula 1. For the moment he has FP1 planned of Imola with Haas, then we will see if Ferrari will be able to support him also next season when the American team will have to replace Hulkenberg, who has moved to Audi/Sauber.
