“We have what it takes to win these playoffs.” Angelo Talia he confides his thoughts in view of the play-offs, speaking on Tmw Radio, during the ‘A Tutta C’ program. The Giallorossi midfielder is confident about the value of the squad: “We are a team with a staff made up of quality and experienced players.”
Combined with the freshness of young people like the same boy who grew up in the Witch’s nursery: “I didn’t expect to find this continuity after my first professional season in Potenza. I am happy with my performances with this shirt, Benevento is a city to which I owe a lot. I arrived as a child and I hope to take this club as high as possible.” Talia is protected by a multi-year contract with the via Santa Colomba club, renewed last summer: “I arrived in Benevento when I was 13-14 years old. For me it was a dream and I can say that it was a great emotion. I extended the contract, I felt like I was doing it for the club and I wanted to thank the president for all the trust he puts in the young players. I hope to fulfill my dream and reach the top.”
To get to the end, Benevento also relies on the fans: “After a relegation that hurt a lot I think we had a good championship. We must continue on this path because we can get all the way to the playoffs. I didn’t have any pressure or difficulties from the fans because I’m from here. The fans are very close to the team and they will be so in these play-offs too.”
With Auteri the feeling was immediate: “With his arrival he helped the team from all points of view, especially the mental one. I thank him for what he is doing with the team. He gave everyone the chance to play and this united us all very much.”
On the break before the playoffs: “I can say that having more than a month off I think is almost burdensome. It will be hard to get back into the rhythm of the game. We have two weeks off and we can study the teams. We had a mini retreat in Rome for a week and we are preparing in a big way for Tuesday.”
