Siro Badon new President of the Footwear Polytechnic

Born in Padua, in 1976 he joined the family business, the shoe factory De Robert of Saonaracollaborating with his father and brother Roberto in production management.

He subsequently moved on to take care of the administrative part of the company, of which he became President in 1986.

Since the 1990s it has concentrated its commitment in the commercial area, leading the company to expand its market in Northern Europe and Asia.

Siro Badon held numerous institutional roles and association positions: member of the General Council of Confindustria Venice Rovigoof the Board of Directors of NeaFidi, of Confindustria Padova, of Confindustria Veneto and of Politecnico Calzaturiero.

From 2011 to 2020 he was President of the Brenta Masters Footwear Consortium.

In the same year he was unanimously called to lead ACRi.B., which he led until 2020 in the process of system integration with Confindustria Venezia in the metropolitan area of ​​Venice and Rovigo, now Confindustria Veneto Est.

Finally, after having held the role of Vice President of Assocalzaturifici with responsibility for Training for eight years, he was elected President in 2019.

I am preparing to take up his baton with the intention of consolidate and increase the relevance of the structure for the benefit of the entire sector, as well as enhancing the progress made to date, continuing to represent a point of reference for the training of footwear professionals, in our district, in Veneto and throughout Italy”.
