The Country dance school, organizer of the Valsassina Country Festival, the very Lecco “700 meters above the sky” won first place in the “Advanced” category in the country dance competition organized on the occasion of the tenth edition of the Country Road Festival, an event of music, country dancing and culture made in the USA held at Malpensa Fiere on 4 and 5 May.
Three categories competing: basic, intermediate and advanced, with 27 teams registered from all over Northern Italy. With the “700 Performers” team, the 700 meters above the sky, a reality present in our territory for thirteen years now and which year after year gathers more and more numerous line dance and country life style enthusiasts, they won the first prize in the highest category with the Fake ID dei choreography
Big & Rich from the movie Footloose.
But for those who want to try their hand at these group dances, the one and only country dance school in Lecco will perform in Lecco in Piazza Cappuccini, at the “Festa del viale” in the oratory square from 10 to 12 May. Event starts at 6pm!!! There will also be the possibility of having dinner.
