On Saturday 11 May at 11 am the premises of the Recreational Club will return to the community of Chiaveretto di Subbiano after their safety and redevelopment by the Municipality, with a small party in which the President Domenico Baglioni will do the honors with the Mayor.
This club represents the history of the hamlet of Chiaveretto, with all the small towns that gravitate around it; its premises were once those of the elementary school, a place of growth and life education for the children of this small historical nucleus which is located between the territories of Anghiari and that of Arezzo.
A building, that of the Club which also houses the general practitioner’s surgery, “the family doctor”, a public station for a life-saving “defibrillator” donated by Ulderico Bertini’s family after a village dinner that remembered him, a place therefore which brings the whole community together, so much so that the objective, with the support of companies, is to equip the property with a stair lift for the disabled or for those who have walking difficulties.
The renovation job is entrusted to a company that recognizes itself in this area, and everything local always seems to give its best, representing the community itself and also investing in passion in what it does.
The safety measures of the structure are exactly what the name suggests, i.e. a set of interventions that have made it possible to restore, even with consolidations, a level of safety that allows people to remain in this environment that has always hosted convivial meetings , anniversaries, public meetings to discuss one’s territory and passions.
The Club has been renovated, with municipal resources amounting to around eighty thousand euros, and aims to offer a safe meeting point, where aggregation activities can be carried out, without entering into competition with other small commercial entities which struggle to maintain a presence, thus revitalizing this even better. place of passage located along the Provincial road of Libbia.
