Brawl in a bar in Messina, the police intervenes and the police commissioner orders the suspension of the license

The suspension of the license was decreed and the closure of a city bar for seven days was established. The exercise was the scene, last April 6, of a serious episode for which the Messina police headquarters intervened.

The decree, adopted by the Police Commissioner Annino Gargano based on the investigative activity of the PAS Division, it arises from a fight that occurred within the commercial establishment which involved several people including the owner himself.

The immediate intervention of the Flying Police officers, in fact, made it possible to acquire useful elements for the purposes of reconstructing the violent conduct that had probably just taken place, as well as the seizure of a baseball bat probably used during the brawl.

While on the one hand the criminal responsibilities of the participants in the brawl are being assessed, the measure to suspend the activity adopted by the Police Commissioner was immediate, as a non-deferrable act of protecting public order and safeguarding the safety of citizens , a warning to an immediate change of conduct.

The provision is part of the broader framework of the monitoring activities carried out daily by the Administrative Police Division of the Messina Police Headquarters, which will continue to carry out the usual checks in the city and in the province, so that compliance with the current legislation is guaranteed, also to protect the public order and citizen safety.
