BRINDISI – A vortex moving from Sardinia towards Tunisia orchestrates a disturbance responsible for a worsening in part of Southern Italy, mainly destined for the Tyrrhenian regions. This was announced by meteorologist Lorenzo Badellino of 3bmeteo.com. Puglia, however, will remain further east than the range of action of the disturbance and consequently on the edge of the worsening, with some rain arriving during the day on the areas bordering Campania and Basilicata.
On Thursday the disturbance will manage to temporarily extend further east, involving Puglia with rain and some thunderstorms in the morning in the provinces of Lecce and Brindisi, extending between the afternoon and evening in that of Bari. Foggiano, however, will remain drier, with wider clearings. From Friday the anticyclone will try to gain ground by expanding from Western Europe towards Italy, favoring greater stabilization of the weather also in Puglia, so much so that conditions will remain mostly sunny until the end of the week, with temperatures recovering.
Over the weekend, maximum values will reach 22/24°C in Brindisi, 24/25°C in Lecce and Bari, 26/28°C in Foggia. However, the possibility of some brief showers or heat storms on Saturday afternoon in the inland areas of Salento, rapidly fading in the evening, should not be ruled out.
