OLBIA. The interregional rowing organized in the waters in front of the Cala dei Sardi Marina by the Cala dei Sardi Yacht Club and the Tilibbas Marina ends successfully.
Five participating Sardinian crews, affiliated to the Italian Fixed Seat Federation, who challenged each other on board the gozzi on a 1500 meter course.
In the women’s race, first place went to the Golfo Aranci crew and in the men’s the Golfo Aranci rowing group with the participation of some athletes from the Stintino rowing team). Excellent results for the women’s team of the Yacht Club-Cala Dei Sardi on its debut. In the men’s race, on the second step of the podium was the Yacht Club-Cala dei Sardi, the hosts, and third place went to the debutants from the Marina di Tilibbas who performed well despite having had little training under their belt.
The boats were made available by the Naval League of Porto San Paolo while the crews’ lunch was prepared by the members of the Tilibbas Marina. For next year, as stated by the regional delegate of the Fixed Seat Rowing Federation Antiochus Tiloccawe will work on organizing a stage of the Italian national gozzo championship.
