Activities of excellence for which our territory is increasingly the protagonist. This vocation must be accompanied with quality initiatives in the field of training in order to be increasingly attractive for industrial investments and also for young talents. At the conference, the general secretary Federica Montaresi represented the Port Authority and explained: “This appointment is fully part of the valorisation policy for an increasingly strategic sector. La Spezia offers great opportunities to those who train in polo: it is one of the few decentralized places that creates great attraction from outside. A figure worth mentioning is represented by the percentages of students: almost 70 percent are not from La Spezia. It represents a mechanism of great attraction and strength. We hope that the initiative will also be a driving force for attracting new students.” On the sidelines, another fact was highlighted: the employability rate of graduates from the center in the nautical design sector corresponds to 95 percent.”

The debate of ideas and creations will also touch on the theme of sustainability, with particular attention to the new trend of sailing superyachts, materials and propulsion. finally we will discuss residential yachting, in which Italian shipyards are once again protagonists.
