They will be the active citizens, individuals or associations who, since the beginning of 2023, have entered into collaboration agreements to deal with common goods, i protagonists of “All for one… pacts for all”the initiative organized by the municipal administration as part of Civil Week.

From 9.30 to 13.30 in the park of the “Marinoni” library the activity of the pacts will be illustrated through workshops and moments of exchange and gift related to greenery, the area, together with the maintenance of public furnishings, in which active citizens in Legnano work. Explanatory panels of the individual agreements will be positioned in the library park
and which illustrate with photos the activities carried out by citizens. There are currently sixteen collaboration agreements.

«We conceived collaboration agreements as a tool to encourage active citizenship and it seemed natural to us to present these experiences and propose their outcomes within the Civil week, i.e. the event that “promotes civic sense to build more inclusive communities” – comments Monica Berna Nasca, councilor for everyday life -. After almost a year and a half from the signing of the first agreements, the time has come to take stock and to give visibility with the aim of stimulating membership and possible collaborations between the pacts themselves. Just this week we organized the first meeting of citizens active in green projects with the manager of Amga’s Public Green Maintenance business unit, Angelo Vavassori; the intent is to give them some “green” pills that can help with their commitment and at the same time provide elements of knowledge on the green maintenance methods adopted in the city, one above all “reduced mowing”, a choice that allows the grasses and flowers of the meadows to complete their vegetative cycle with benefits for biodiversity”.

Coming in the morning in the library park, the program provides the exchange of cuttings prepared by active citizens and the gift of some small bags of flower seeds those present, who will be asked to leave a “green thought” on a postcard that will be displayed. At 10.30 readings for children on green topics and, at 11am, workshop (also for children) to make “seed bombs”, composed of soil, flower seeds and grass to be dried and then thrown into the lawn. In addition to individual active citizens, the morning takes advantage of the presence and collaboration of some associations that have signed the agreements: Banca del Tempo, Cooperativa Serena, Progetti fantasia and Afamp.
