The show

There Aretè dance school organizes a dance and musical show with the extraordinary participation of Massimo Dalla Mora and Daniele Lucchetti, dancers of the Teatro alla Scala. The show, which involves students from classical and contemporary dance, acrodance, hip hop and musical courses, will be structured into two sections: the first half, “Cirque des Étoiles”, is a ballet taken from the classical repertoire with contaminations from other styles; the second half, “Strike“, taken from the Broadway-style musical repertoire, tells the story of the strike of the “newsies”, the newspaper sellers of New York in 1899. “It is our school’s end-of-year show – he underlines Elisabetta Seratoni of Aretè – we are proud to dedicate it to an association so present in the area.”

The target

The show, sponsored by the municipal administration, is scheduled Monday 13 May at 8.45pm at the Lux Theatre and the proceeds will be donated to the Passaparola association for the “Adopt a family” project. As the inclusion councilor observes Paola Reguzzoni«it is not the first time that Aretè supports social projects through artthis year it is alongside Passaparola which is in the trenches every day for extreme poverty and helps families in difficulty to satisfy primary needs which are not just food, clothing and workbut also psychological, fiscal, legal and medical needs.”

The “suspended tiles”

In summary, the funds raised will finance some cards that will be delivered to needy families to access counseling and others services and benefits provided by Passaparola and by the vast network of entities connected to the association. «We care about meeting people’s needs, from food parcels to job searches – he explains the president of Passaparola Aps Paola Surano – this project was born in 2020, during the pandemic, to help people who don’t even have 20 euros to pay for the card.” The evening is already sold out, but you can contribute to the project by purchasing “suspended” cards (for information: Passaparola n. tel. 349 1947265).
