The diocesan Caritas of Faenza-Modigliana and the Pro Solidarietate ETS Foundation promote a food collectionto support all those who turn to Diocesan listening center to ask help.
Food will be collected on Saturday 11 May 2024, from 8.30am to 6pm in the following supermarkets in Faenza: Conad Arena (via Caffarilli 1); Conad Le Cicogne (via Galileo Galilei 4); Conad La Filanda (via della Constitution 28).
The following products can be donated: bread (or substitutes); milk; seed oil; extra virgin olive oil; salt; sugar; Flour; pasta; tomato puree or sauce; cookies; tuna; legumes or canned meat; coffee.
We thank AGESCI (Association of Italian Catholic Guides and Scouts) and all the volunteers who will provide their fundamental service for the occasion, ensuring the realization of the food collection. Furthermore, the contribution of volunteers is also useful throughout the year for the service of providing food to the most needy.
At the diocesan listening centre, located in via d’Azzo Ubaldini 5/7, the distribution of food takes place on Tuesday in the afternoon, on Wednesday and Friday in the morning, and also at home, in case the family has difficulty access the service independently. There were almost 2,700 parcels distributed in 2023 (of which 140 at home) and in the first 4 months of 2024 it has already exceeded one thousand. The service can be accessed after an individual interview with the diocesan Caritas operators.
