8 May 2024 – “The FP CGIL Bergamo at the demonstration of the workers of the Court and the Prosecutor’s Office of Bergamo in front of the provincial Prefecture. Participated and combative demonstration to protest against the unilateral modification of the decentralized agreement on working hours and to denounce the numerous problems that afflict the justice sector across the board”. “We are satisfied with the participation, there were around 110 people – underlines Leopoldo Chiummo, secretary of the FP Cgil orobica -. We asked for and obtained a meeting with the Prefectto which we reiterated the problems we are concerned about state of unrest since last January 30th and that we want to solve. In addition to the unilateral compression of the 2017 agreement on working hours flexibility, there are now chronic problems such as the shortage of workers in judicial offices and the health and safety of working environments. We asked the Prefect – adds the trade unionist – to be a direct spokesperson for this dispute both with the Ministry of Justice but also with the Presidency of the Council”.
