At just 19 years old, he is one of the most sought after pens among the new faces of the Italian trap scene, who has managed to attract the attention of the public and professionals thanks to dark musical atmospheres and a refined style. It’s about Fiore Akamono, the young artist from Cesena class of 2005, who has announced his first EP “BUGIE” (Epic Records/Sony Music), available digitally from Friday 10 May.
Despite his young age, the artist is making his way thanks to a natural and authentic aptitude for trap, accompanied by his extremely recognizable timbre and his direct writing, at times brutal, full of joints, harsh rhetorical figures and references to subculture social.
“BUGIE” will contain seven tracks, including already released singles, such as “CAINO”, “5 BISTURI” AND “CORNER” feat Incis ZONE (with the production of 85prod and Goss Vinyard), and four unreleased tracks: the title track “BUGIE” ( prod. 85Prod and 2nd Roof), “TARALLINI” (prod. Scien and 85Prod), the banger “MILLENNIUM FALCON” feat. Luciennn and “ALLUVION” in collaboration with DAYTONA KK.
In this debut EP, Fiore Akamono presents two facets of her personality: one street-hard and a second more conscious, which the investiture of the multi-platinum producer duo 2nd Roof helps to intensify in the title track “BUGIE”, giving the song a more intimate and mature atmosphere, combined with iconic punchlines that every Gen Z boy can relate to.
The first single to anticipate the EP was “CAINO”, released on January 19, 2024, which reflects the more mature side of Fiore Akamono’s music: a conscious piece with complex lyrics, which tells an autobiographical love story in which the The artist is metaphorically killed by the person for whom he would have given everything. Thus, Fiore Akamono tears out her eyes like Oedipus, while she betrays him, evoking the drama of Cain and Abel. This is followed by “5 SCALPELS” (March 1, 2024), an emotional journey through pain, accompanied by the production of 85Prod, with which the artist explores the link between art and pain, citing five crucial moments that marked his path : the song almost becomes a hymn for those who share with him the desperation he feels, before finding the strength to regain control of his life. Finally, “CORNER” featuring Incis ZONE, released on April 26th and produced by 85Prod and Goss Vinyard, who give the single a refined club sound.
Between never predictable rhymes, a dark imagery and a unique rapping ability, Fiore Akamono is ready to amaze the public with an EP in which bars and joints with impeccable technique mix with crude and dystopian metaphors, flanked by cultural references of high thickness. In the project, the artist emerges as a true element of modern non-conformism, through a raw and intellectual trap, which he had already demonstrated in previous singles, including “MARAT”, which takes inspiration from the painting by Jacques-Louis David, and “TARRARE” feat Sherkhan, which refers to the French street artist of the same name, known for gobbling up food and inedible objects without ever being satisfied, symbolizing Fiore Akamono’s unstoppable artistic hunger.
