The initiatives are open to citizens.
The birdlife of the port of Ancona – compared experiences– is the title of the event organized byItalian Ornithologists Association in Ancona, Saturday next May 11thwith the support of CoopAllenza 3.0.
One is scheduled for the same day nature walk along the Porto Antico with meeting at 10.30 am in Piazza Santa Maria e una conference at the Mole (Boxing room) starting at 3:00 pm.
The afternoon meeting will be introduced by Mina Pascucci, president of Ornitologi Marche APS. The interventions will concern the port urban planning regulation and environmental protection (Vittoria Biego, Acquatecno Srl); Lo Current status of the avifauna in Porto Dorico (Fulvio Felici, Marche Ornithologists APS); there urban gull management, the case of Trieste (Enrico Benussi, ornithologist); the common swift as an umbrella species for urban biodiversity (Mauro Ferri, Living Monuments association) e the pale swift in the port of Livorno (Giorgio Paesani, Tuscan Ornithologist Center). At the end of the conference – which can also be followed online – there will be space for questions and debate.
