Grosseto. Health, development and work: these are the foundations on which the program of “Vivere Massa” is based, a civic list that supports the candidacy of Andrea Vinciarelli as mayor of Massa Marittima.

Vinciarelli, 69 years old, a true Massetano, retired and former head of institutional relations of Pfizer Italia for central Italy, is also supported from the PCI delle Colline Metallifere and from the Massa Comune civic list.

This candidacy represents my first experience in the political field – has explained Vinciarelli during a press conference in Grosseto -. I have never had party membership cards and, once I retired, I made my experience in the healthcare sector available to the community. I promoted, with the Fare association of which I am president, a petition for the reopening of the Colline Metallifere socio-health district which obtained over 2 thousand signatures. This request also reached the third Commission of the Regional Council and was at the center of two motions, one in the Regional Council and the other in the Massa Marittima Municipal Council, which also received the support of the outgoing mayor Marcelo Giuntini”.

“At the moment the activities of the Fare association have crystallized to make room for the electoral campaign – has continued the candidate -. The logo of the ‘Vivere Massa’ list does not show my name, nor party symbols because we are the only, true civic list that presents itself in the administrative elections of Massa Marittima. The symbol simply wants to highlight the macro topics of my program: health, development and work. Health will be the driving theme of the electoral campaign: we will fight to maintain the services and excellent professionals who work at the Sant’Andrea hospital, already the victim of indiscriminate cuts, and ensure that the structure returns to being a hospital and not a simple factory hospital. We want to deseasonalize tourism, so that Massa Marittima is not experienced only three months a year, we want to protect the third sector and the over seventy city voluntary associations. The name of our list is ‘Vivere Massa’ precisely because our goal is to improve the quality of life and the social and physical well-being of our fellow citizens”.

On Saturday 11 May, at 11.30, in the “Mariella Gennari” room in Massa Marittima, they will be presented the candidates of the “Vivere Massa” list for the City Council: “They are all professionals and entrepreneurs who do not currently hold political positions, precisely to underline the civility of our list”, he concluded Vinciarelli.
