On the evening of May 6, a crew of the State Police of Novara, specifically of the Flying Squad of the Police Headquarters, was sent from the Operations Center to the Hospital as a man, born in 1988, known for his numerous police records and subjected to a home detention regime, he had contacted the emergency number, feeling ill and communicating that he would go to receive medical treatment at the hospital.
The facts
Once on site, however, the officers noted that the man, after arriving at the emergency room, had become enraged and had walked away after engaging in harassing behavior towards the security guard without receiving medical attention.
Shortly afterwards, requests for intervention from residents of via Monsignore Ossola began to arrive at the station and therefore the crew left the hospital and went to the scene.
As soon as they arrived, the officers found the man reported above in a clear state of alcoholic alteration who, lying on the bonnet of a car parked there, shouted incoherent and senseless phrases and assumed a threatening attitude towards passers-by.
With quite a few difficulties the man was brought back to his home, but he also continued once inside, with aggressive and threatening attitudes, continuing for some time, creating disturbance and fear among the residents also given the late hour. After punching the walls several times, he turned towards the operators who had intervened, first pushing them and shouting and subsequently also trying to hit them with his fists.
At that point the policemen contained him using the Taser provided and accompanied him to the police headquarters.
Therefore the police proceeded to arrest him for resistance as well as to release him for escape.
