A portion of the roof collapses at the scientific high school in Viareggio
“We are referring to the collapse of a portion of the roof in the branch of the Barsanti and Matteucci scientific high school in Viareggio, which occurred yesterday morning during class time and was caused by the failure of a roofing beam – they explain -. Fortunately no one was injured, but the consequences could have been really serious if the attic had collapsed on the heads of students and teachers. It is clear that many school buildings in the Lucca area are now dated and often require especially preventive checks and both ordinary and extraordinary maintenance interventions.
