Marco Manfrinati’s versionthe forty-year-old former lawyer arrested for murder and attempted murder of the father-in-law and the ex-wife, is that of having had a reaction towards a man, the father-in-law, who had had a violent reaction trying to help his daughter. The suspect’s lawyer stated this (in the cover photo in this article)who is in prison today, after the interrogation which took place in front of the judge for preliminary investigations of Varese, in the hearing to validate the arrest.
According to the reconstruction of the lawyer BusignaniManfrinati on Monday morning he had gone to Casbeno outside the office where the father and ex-wife worked to hit the woman, and at the end of the attack towards his ex-partner the man got back into the car, decided to go and report himself to the police station.
It was at that moment that according to the reconstruction made by the lawyer on the basis of the suspect’s statements, Manfrinati was allegedly hit with a golf club today seized by the police, by her ex father-in-law.
According to what was said, the person arrested at that time was hit in various places on his body, and the club smashed the rear window and the left front windows of the car. It is at that point that Manfrinati apparently got out of the vehicle and some stab wounds struck his ex-father-in-law. The lawyer focused on what is believed to be the triggering cause of the gesturei.e. the right to see the couple’s son: a right which according to Manfrinati was unjustly denied to him since the ban on approaching them extended to the people offended by the crime (the one contested in Varese, stalking) and Lavinia and Marco’s son did not was among them.
