A reopening with new management, based on innovation, safety and a broad musical offering. On Friday 10 May starting from 10pm the Manduca inaugurates its summer season with a special preview with free admission while seats last.
As recited by the slogan of the season “Discover Your Sound”, the venue located in the Cascine Park will this year offer a wide choice of musical genres, from electronic to reggaeton via indie, arriving in the height of summer at cover the week from Tuesday to Saturday with its events.
Among the collaborations worth mentioning is the one with Tenax, scheduled for Thursday, in which Alex Neri, Philipp, Cole, Mennie, Matteo Zarcone, Black Angus and many others will be guests. On more mainstream musical evenings, such as Friday and Saturday, reference DJs from the Tuscan scene such as Smerling and Giancarlo Ducceschi will alternate.
The new management of Manduca, as mentioned above, will strive to guarantee a welcoming and professional environment, with particular attention to proximity to the surrounding community. This will translate not only into tangible innovations, such as new systems and safety improvements, but also into direct dialogue with residents to address any problems and find shared solutions.
In terms of technological innovation, the venue will adopt a latest generation audio system managed by a team of sound engineers, guaranteeing precise control over the volume and minimizing any acoustic interference for the neighbourhood.
Regarding security, Manduca will implement an enhanced internal order service, supported by a video surveillance system. Outside, there will be an adequate number of parking attendants and stewards to ensure the safety and decorum of the surrounding areas. Furthermore, two staff will be active to regulate the flow of traffic and prevent congestion or disturbance situations in the adjacent residential area.
An integral part of the new management will also be an active commitment to the local community, with openness to social and community initiatives that can help promote an environment of conviviality and mutual respect.
Finally, the venue will introduce special evenings dedicated to young people, with alcohol-free entertainment options.
