Around 700 citizen reports collected by ‘Andiamo!’

The press conference took place this morning around 10.30 am Let’s go! at the electoral point of Via Roma.
The theme of the meeting was the data collected from the listening campaign organized by the list and the proposed solutions and ideas accepted in the coalition program.

The initiative involved the positioning of around 50 different boxes in a series of commercial activities that collaborated on the initiative, which saw a response of around 700 reports, leaving the promoters satisfied, starting from Candidate from the Olmo Romeo list:

“There are 2 different reports that we have collected. Geographical distinctions. In the central areas the most frequent requests concerned the request for homogeneous, clean and decent street furniture. Another reported problem is mice, most of which are reported on the cycle path. Mouse crossings on the particular track are a frequent and problematic factor. They are intelligent animals and have also learned that in the piles of rubbish, which are everywhere, they find endless supplies of food. We will solve the problem with ecological islands and eco-points. However, it is not enough to collect. Where rubbish is left it should be disinfected, essential for decorum and hygiene. The second point is asphalt and sidewalks. The half roadway should be asphalted. The sidewalks are broken. The intervention we want to carry out will be planned in 5 batches over 5 years. 5 areas in which one determines by gravity where to intervene. The third point is the parking lots. Everyone complains about high rates and we were thinking of offering discounted rates for residents. In the more populated areas of the city, however, the most frequent reports are above all the request for meeting places. A request that comes to us both from young people and from older people. Last point is the question of outdoor areas. A simpler and more orderly plan must be made that can best reward the efforts of the activities.”

Il was also present at the meeting candidate for Mayor Gianni Rolando, who focused at a certain point on the Pigna issue: “Encourage the opening of commercial activities, change of intended use after 5 years to reduce the initial investment of traders who want to open businesses. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the candidates on the list who took action for the boxes and the list promoter Maurizio Zoccarato
