In Bolzano a fire broke out in the Alpitronic factory, a company specialized in charging columns for electric cars. The flames broke out around 9am this morning and quickly spread, but there were no casualties or injuries.
THE NOTICE OF THE CIVIL PROTECTION AND THE WORK OF THE FIREFIGHTERS
“Due to a fire – declared the Civil Protection – there are intense fumes. It is advisable to keep doors and windows closed and to turn off air conditioning and ventilation systems.”
The firefighters are working to put out the fire on all sides of the company’s factory, also drawing water from the Isarco river. The Municipality of Bolzano has communicated that “the situation is under control”.

ALPITRONIC HYPERCHARGER COLUMNS
The Hypercharger product line consists of a power range from 50 to 400 kW. The company’s power electronics are based on the latest silicon carbide (SiC) semiconductor technologies. The SiC modules, we read on the official website, “compared to the IGBT technology of the previous HYC150 and HYC300, offer unparalleled efficiency, halving power losses”.
