On the occasion of fiftieth anniversary of Club activities Gmbs (Scale Battle Modeling Group) with the collaboration of Municipality of Faenza organized the “5th stage of Italian wargame championship relating to the historical period “The world at the time of the Manfredis” 1313 – 1501. The event will be held on 11 and 12 May 2024 in Podesta’s Palace.
Free entry for everyone during the following access times: Saturday 11 May from 10.15am to 7pm; Sunday 12 May from 9am to 6pm. They will participate in the wargame tournament 24 players from all over Italy of which four people from Faenzathere will also be among the participants the world champion in charge Francesco Velotto of Naples. They will take the field 24 armies with a representation of 22 nationsdisputing 60 battles during the two days of the event, all the armies will be made up of hand-painted models in the 15mm scale.
Visitors will be able to watch the battles of the past unfold by reliving the clashes between peoples and nations who competed for world domination in the time of the Manfredi. At the end of the event, the player who has obtained the highest score will be appointed”Tournament winner”.

The public will be able to visit i 12 tables on which the meetings of the “5th stage of the Italian wargame championship will take place, the exhibition of the works of the artist from Faenza Giuseppe Ravathe projection of the historical photographic collection of 50 years of the club’s activity and the Warhammer fantasy gaming tournament they will participate in 30 players. It will be presented at the convention the plastic which reconstructs a neighborhood of Rome In the period Augustan.
